Boudoir has become {in recent years} a very popular style of photography.  While there used to exist strong negative connotations associated with the style, the 21st Century has allowed for a profound embracing of one's sexuality. 

Tasteful compositions in this intimate style, are not only beautiful, they are powerful {& empowering}.

While there exists a sense of voyeurism in boudoir images, there also exists an unspoken understanding that we have been invited in. Invited into 'her' space, because she is comfortable, confident, and approving of her own body.

Bridal Boudoir is a trend that has gained intense momentum, where bride's are choosing to gift their soon-to-be-husband's with these intimate images {which I assure you he enjoys}. They make wonderful anniversary presents,  birthday presents, or Valentine's Day gifts. 

OR sometimes, they make the perfect gift for yourself!

Brittani surprised her boyfriend on Valentine's Day with these sensational images. 

Brittani rented out an adorable room at the Van Galis Inn in Fergus, where she and I spent the afternoon capturing these images. Brittani is not only beautiful on the outside, but as you'll be able to tell from these pictures, she also has a sensational personality.

Vanessa & josh | to be wed

Happy Valentine's Day!

I figured there was no better time than today--a day dedicated to celebrating love--to introduce you to the incredible Vanessa & Josh!

Vanessa & Josh will be making their long term commitment to one another 'official' in November, and I for one, cannot wait to share in their special day.

Vanessa's amazing style and attention to detail will make for one beautiful wedding and this engagement shoot highlights not only Vanessa's creativity, but the profound love between she and Josh.

I spent the day with them up at their house; a ridiculously adorable converted old school house just North of Mount Forest. Situated on a gorgeous lot with such rustic charm, not only was the couple a dream to shoot, but the location was simply awesome.
Before heading off to a beautiful forest nearby, we started off at their place capturing beautiful images outside their barn and around their property with two very special additions to the family, their dogs, Butter & Scotch! Like Vanessa and Josh, they made exceptional models!

I couldn't be happier for these two and have no doubt in my mind, that theirs is a love that will last forever.

Meet Claire.

Little Claire was just shy of a week old during our session together. Her beautiful Mother, Lisa and awesome Dad, Chris were likely more tired than she was, as Claire was wide awake for the majority of it! She is such an alert, happy little baby, who's personality was already shining through after less than a week on this planet.

Waiting for Claire to fall asleep, meant that I got to spend more time with this beautiful little family and it was such a pleasure! Claire is a lucky girl! 

Despite the odd 'accident' in the name of that perfect shot, Claire was a little angel during our time together and with eyelashes like I've never seen before, a photographer's dream to shoot!

I wish you all the most wonderful journey as a new family of three.
